Fall in Sonoma County
Children’s Jamboree and Fall Festival 2024
October 20 was a picture-perfect day for Jam-Fest 2024 — a free public event hosted by the UC Master Gardener Program of Sonoma County. More than 230 people (adults and children) came to the Los Guilicos Demonstration and Teaching Garden to enjoy fun, interactive activities and presentations and a pop-up succulent sale. We appreciate the dedication and enthusiasm of the volunteers and partner organizations who helped make Jam-Fest 2024 a success!

Fall is time to plant California natives in your garden and we invite you to learn more!
Plant California native plants in fall and watch your garden come alive this spring. Birds and pollinator insects such as butterflies, bees and moths will be drawn to your thriving native habitat garden when you include native plants. Fall is the perfect time to establish natives in your garden. Join the Sonoma County Master Gardeners for this free event at Harvest for the Hungry Garden. Wildflower seeds and a select group of keystone plants will be available while supplies last. Tour the garden, find inspiration and get started growing California’s natives!
